Almost two years ago, I had an epiphany to bring this business to New York. I knew people – two of my best friends lived in the city – and I’d been countless times before for work. But beyond my inner circle, I didn’t know anyone in the entrepreneurship space. Like, seriously, nobody.
Through interviewing so many incredible women here in New York over these past few years, that has completely changed. I now have a tribe of women who have become such an instrument part of my life – women who have helped shape (and direct) the trajectory of my business, far beyond what I originally envisaged.
And that’s exactly why I started our Supper Club series. I wanted to create a space where likeminded women can meet women just like that – the kind that champion you when you’re second guessing yourself, who keep you motivated during those moments when it feels easier to throw the towel in and who celebrate your wins like it’s their own.
Back in the summer, we took the series to London but last week we brought it back to New York, partnering up with the wonderful Sarah Schneider, founder of NYC-favourite, Egg Shop. Sarah was one of the first women I met here in New York (you can read all about her story here). Listening to her journey and watching everything she’s done (and continues to achieve) with her business is a constant source of inspiration for me so it was the most organic thing for us to join forces in bringing such a magical evening together.
If you’re in London, make sure you’re on the list for next Supper Club, which is going down in December. Just click here to join the list. We’re taking it to different cities each month next year so make sure you’re signed up here to find out when we’re coming to your city too.
Below is a recap of some of our favourite moments. Enjoy!
