Life is full, and business doesn’t stop. Here’s how I’m staying present and keeping sales steady—without the hustle.
At the time of writing this, yesterday was Mother’s Day. Today, it’s my daughter’s birthday. I’m squeezing in this email before I head out to take treats to her class as they sing happy birthday, followed by a BBQ, just the four of us, that we’re throwing for her.
Last week, I was on a school trip with my son one day and volunteering in my daughter’s class the next. This week, we’re prepping for her birthday party with her school friends and hosting one with close friends and family. It’s full-on.
One of the moms at school called it May-Sember—and honestly, that’s exactly what it feels like.
It used to be that moments like this—where life outside of business is demanding more of me—would create so much tension. Because the only model I knew for growth was doing and creating more.
And because I’m naturally growth-minded, I could bypass that misalignment. I’d power through. I’d push harder. I’d take on the big projects even when my bandwidth was already stretched.
But over time I’ve realized: Growth at the expense of my nervous system isn’t growth I’m interested in anymore.
Now I understand that a sustainable business needs seasons—times to build and birth, and times to stabilize, optimize, and let what you’ve already created work.
Summer is that softer season for me. Between birthdays, travel, and more time with family, it’s not the season where I want to be launching or running at full capacity. It’s when I want to feel fluid. Present. Still supported by my business—but not in a way that requires me to hustle just to stay afloat.
That’s why I created Scale Your Sales.
It’s a short, actionable mini-course that hands over the exact strategies I use in seasons like this—when energy is lower or redirected elsewhere, but I still want to support revenue, keep momentum, and deepen service.
If you’re already making some sales and you want to build on that without needing to launch something new or stretch yourself even thinner, this was made for you.
It’s the behind-the-scenes playbook I lean on to work with my capacity, not against it.
And you can dive in and start applying it this afternoon.
