A summer of stillness showed me the peace that sustainable business can bring—without the burnout.

I’m currently typing this on my mom’s large kitchen table in the home that I grew up in.
It’s just past 9am but it already feels like early afternoon (those of you with littles know exactly what I’m talking about!).
The doors that lead out to the backyard are wide open.
The sun is peeking out behind the clouds, and I’m watching as my kids charge around with limitless energy, playing games, making stories and reaping chaos on my mom’s plants.
Summer time.
I’ve been off for the past month, and I can honestly say that this is a summer that will stay with me. Not because of the places we’ve gone or the things we’ve done, but because of how I feel.
In my body, with my people, and in my life…
I shared in Sunday’s note that I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on what my why looks like now, well over a decade as an entrepreneur.
And I can categorically say that my why today is peace.
There was a moment a couple of years ago, when I was in the thick of my “more money, more problems era”, where I’d had enough, and silently made a commitment never to fall victim again to growing my income in a way that left me feeling bankrupt in my life.
I’ve seen what it looks like to do everything right. To strive, to achieve, to earn; only to feel stretched thin, disconnected and exhausted.
The desire to be everything we know we’re capable of is real (and powerful).
And the need for financial safety – or safety period – can be loud.
Sometimes, though, it becomes so loud that it’s all we can hear.
Emotional poverty, time poverty and that feeling of disconnection that comes when your work has become your entire personality?
It’s quiet. It hides behind all of the achievement, fixing and over-functioning – and it takes a lot of work to name it, let alone heal it.
And that’s what so much of the last couple of years has looked like.
It hasn’t been Instagram-ready or “aesthetic”, but it’s changed me.
I’m softer. I no longer exist in, “I’ve got it make shit happen” energy or in the pattern of bypassing what my body is telling me or what I actually want.
I’ve learnt how to choose the sustainable path in business, not just when it’s easy, but more importantly when it’s hard or rubs against my default programming (as I remind my students, the magic is often in the opposite).
How to truly be with my family, and not just provide for them.
How to take my time, and let my capacity lead the business strategy, rather than the other way round.
I still love to work.
I love embracing new challenges; I love facilitating breakthroughs and real change for people…
But I knew that I couldn’t keep pouring into my business while starving parts of me that wanted to be fed, and that line in the sand was the catalyst to so many of the changes I now teach and my whole Life-First Business philosophy.
Scale Your Sales is the mini program I created to capture a lot of the tangible strategies I adopted during this luminal phase, that helped create the structure that’s now allowing me the peace that was missing.
Strategies I used to get more mileage from the powerful work I’d already created.
The structure I put in place to take the heavy lifting off my shoulders, and reduce the need for a big team to manage everything.
And the systems I established to multiply our sales without defaulting into over-functioning and performance.
So if you’ve been feeling it too…
If you’ve been making money, but it’s feeling unsustainable…
If you’ve been craving a different way to grow—not one that requires you to shout or perform, but one that compounds and amplifies your energy rather than relying on it…
If you’re standing on the precipice of “this can’t be it” but don’t know what the next iteration of your business looks like yet…
I’m really speaking to you.
Scale Your Sales is the system I created from that exact season.
It’s how I moved from high-effort to high-receive—without creating more.
It’s for when you want your income to grow, but your to-do list to shrink.
And it’s designed to work in real life, with real capacity constraints, and a sustainable pace.
Here’s what’s inside:
How I shifted from efforting to effortless client attraction (without more content)
The steps to turn buyers into long-term superfans
How to increase revenue per client without new leads or massive audience growth
The “fit finder” to choose the right strategy for your current life season
My Win or Switch method to confidently cut what’s not working
A system for consistent income without launches, ads, or urgency
And yes—it’s all in podcast format so you can listen on the move, and around your real life.

If this is hitting…
If your body’s like oof yes yes yes, then you already know:
Whether you join me inside or not, my intention in sharing these stories with you is always to serve as an example of what slow, deep, intentional work – both on ourselves, and our businesses – can unlock.
Here’s to truly living.
